"Saying people are harming your mental health by calling you out is manipulation, bullying isn't okay."

I’m gonna make this clear right now, so people in the back — listen up. I say this with love, light, and with the most heartfelt thought into others mental health.

Bullying is never ok, if you don’t have something nice to say and say nothing at all. We are here to encourage and uplift one another, for our commonality young-teens and many other wonderful generations. We are here to spread love and light, this isn’t to say that sometimes people may or may not agree with one another.

We are all human, no one is above anyone else. With that said, I’m here for positivity and to be there for others. Good or bad this is a safe space community, my heart is open to all: (genders, identity, origin, race, color, creed and religion.) — Choose Love!

SOCIAL MEDIA, CYBER BULLYING & YOUR MENTAL HEALTH

Social media is very powerful, using it activates the brain’s reward center by releasing dopamine a “feel-good chemical,” — linked to pleasurable activities such social interaction.

These platforms are developed to be addictive and are associated with anxiety, depression and even physical illness. Social media can create a lot of pressure to create the stereotype that others want to see and also being as popular as others, we have a lot of fake profiles cyberbullying involves posting or sending electronic messages (sometimes anonymously) including text, pictures or videos, aimed at harassing, threatening or spreading rumors, sexual remarks on another person via a variety of digital platforms such as online social networks, chat rooms, blogs, instant messaging and text messaging. General social media advice: "if you have beef with someone and they give you the impression that their mental health is compromised (started raining curses) or might engage in self harm never reply them back."

For example, Twitter is a very sensitive social media platform airing situations for people to see and make a judgement on is not the way to solve things and detrimental to people's mental health.

MENTAL HEALTH, SELF-HARM, BULLYING & CONSEQUENCES OF BULLYING

I'd like to create awareness on this topic today.

Bullying can happen at: "home, workplace, school, college, university, friends, family, relationships, online and many more."

Here are a few statistics I have found about cyber bullying, I picked this because I see it on here and I’m posting it here so it fits.

We've all been victims of bullying at one time in our life, I certainly have. I was bullied at school and at work.

In the end I didn't want to go to work anymore at that place, it got me down and I dreaded going. I lost sleep over it, it really affected my health. Bullying is never okay, just because you don't agree with someone's interests, lifestyle, culture, race, sexuality, gender or beliefs etc. Everyone is entitled to be themselves.

Here are some affects of cyber building, none of these are okay. I do not tolerate this behaviour.

Also, check out these statistics, sad right? No one deserves this.

Imagine if your relative, child, friend or partner was getting bullied. How would you feel?

If you feel like your partner is bullying you or using a form of control, this is also classed as bullying "this is not okay." — Please remember that, I do not tolerate bullying and I am a safe space. You are all welcome no matter what, be kind to me and I’ll be kind to you.

You can never have too many friends in this World, It costs nothing to be kind even just a small phrase or gesture can lift someone’s spirits up. It might be the only kind thing they will hear that day, that week or even that year.

Be kind to others, you never know what someone is going through.
